The Winter Programme

The winter programme has now almost ended after a series of lectures from visiting speakers and from members. A new innovation was the members evenings, when club members gave short talks on subjects of their own choosing. This has been successful in bringing forth hidden talents, and it is hoped that other people will come forward and offer to do something next winter. Slides can often be borrowed or even specially taken if sufficient notice is given.

The Dinner seems to have become an annual event as the second one was held at Stefan's restaurant in Thurso this year. The principal speakers for the evening were Robert Maclennan, M.P. and the Hon. Vice-President, Don Omand.
