Sinclair's Bay
The Caithness coast has many different features from Cliffs and Stacs to long sandy beaches. One of the best known parts of the coast is Sinclair's Bay. For many years it was one of the finest lobster and crab areas in Scotland. Although somewhat over fished it still produces fine specimens and many small boats still put out creels in the bay. It has several small harbours. These pictures were taken on Sunday 2 December 2000 at the end of the path from Wick Golf Course. Sand dunes stretch in both directions. | |
