| St Andrews Day and although cold the weather had several sunny periods. no rain today and the port was very busy even though it was getting on for lunch time when these pictures were taken. If you want to see a fishing port busy you better get there early in the morning. The men working there have often done several hours by 9.00am. Markets are early to let the lorries get far south during the day to ensure fish arrives as fresh as possible by evening or early next day for markets in London, Spain, Portugal and other continental places. | |
