Kessock Bridge

You have to start somewhere to get to Caithness.  The Kessock Bridge out of Inverness takes you across the River Ness.  It replaced the old Ferry service a few years ago and also shortened the journey slightly by being shorter than the alternate road route round to the other side of the Cromarty Firth.  This view was taken from the Tourist Information car park just over the bridge on the way north.  It is Toll Free and there are no tolls between it and Caithness.  Time to Caithness for locals is two hours.  Time for visitors looking at everything on the way to Caithness 3 - 103 hours.
