LATHERON
- parish The parish of Latheron stretches from the boundary of Sutherland up almost to Wick. A combination of cliffs and headlands around small inlets with a backdrop of moorland stretching back into the Lowlands which unexpectantly lie north of the Highlands. Small farms and crofts run along the coast together with several small villages which still show all the signs of traditional fishing carried out for the last two centuries.
